• Worked for successful adoption of Ohio's Open Meetings Law for the Lima City Charter in November 1998
• Fought against tax increases for City and County residents by opposing an income tax increase in 2004
• Supported economic development by creating residential and commercial tax abatements
• Supported downtown development by advocating construction of the downtown parking garage, expansion of Lima Memorial Health System and St. Rita's Medical Center, placing of the new Lima Senior High School at the stadium stie and funding downtown development groups
• Protecting our neighborhoods by supporting stricter code enforcement and opposing cuts to satisfy service positions.
